The Father's Day Post...

My dad was responsible for me being interested in so many things, especially history as I've stated in a review last year, here. A man with many flaws his biggest quality was being a hard worker and I truly thought I was way too young when I lost him at 25...

I was his pride and joy!

Me and my dad.

Too young? That's until Catherine lost her dad, three months before her 14th birthday...

She was his pride and joy!

Catherine and her dad.

It's great that there is a special day for fathers but do grab every chances you get to let them know how you feel.

Have a great week everyone! Hélène xoxo

You are so right Helene. Much love to you and your daughter. I lost my dad at a similar age, 6 days before my 13th birthday - he told my mum he knew he wasn't going to make it. Your daughter is blessed to have such a wonderful mum. xxx
